Song: Barthezz – On The Move The Ortofon Concorde MKII Club on a Technics SL-1200G turntable equipped with a KAB TD-1000 tonearm damper. This cartridge is the new generation of DJ Concorde cartridges and has an elliptical stylus. The audio recorded by the microphone is replaced by a recording using the same setup and an Asus STX II soundcard. While YouTube isn't the best place to preview sound quality, it'll be good enough to get an impression of the sound and looks of the setup. It is used in combination with a SPL Phonos pre-amp. The sound is a bit flat, but that is partly because of the pre-amp being very 'neutral' without adding coloring sound of its own amplification. Medium input capacitance (220pF) seems to be best suitable with this cartridge. The resonance frequency of the cartridge is measured to be between 9.5Hz and 10.5Hz This vinyl is the original pressing (2000) released on the Tremolo label. Some ticks here and there and writing on the center label because of DJ life it had, but still sounding good.
