CJI Chandrachud expresses concern over discrimination in institutions, student suicides

Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud expressed concerns over student suicides, especially by those from 'marginalised communities'. He said that he was disturbed by incidents of students from marginalised communities taking their lives in top institutions like the IITs and national law universities and that there was a pattern in Dalit and Adivasi students dying by suicide that should be questioned.
