"Moderate to Severe Acquired Brain Injury: In-patient rehabilitation is over. Now what?" Karen Thomas Karen Thomas has a master’s in social work from Dalhousie University and has worked in the rehabilitation for people with disabilities for the past 30 years. For the past 20 years, she has specialized in working with survivors of Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), both in the private and public sectors. Since 2008, she has been part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team assisting ABI survivors and their families move back to community following hospitalization at the Selkirk Mental Health Centre. She is also currently enrolled in the George and Fay Yee Centre for Healthcare Innovation: Academic Health Sciences Leadership Program. https://eventscalendar.umanitoba.ca/s...
