Hola chicos! Welcome back to my channel! Join me as I embark on an unforgettable 3-day road trip through Spain’s legendary La Rioja wine region. From world-famous bodegas to hidden culinary gems, this journey was truly one for the books! It’s important to know that La Rioja region is home to a vast number of wineries and bodegas—nearly 500 in total! Since visiting them all isn’t practical, I recommend doing a bit of research beforehand to choose the wineries and bodegas that best match your interests. Day 1: We kicked things off in Haro, the heart of Rioja wine country, visiting four stunning wineries: La Muga, Cune (home of the Imperial Gran Reserva—yes, the same wine served at the 2024 Masters Champions Dinner!), Bodegas Bilbaínas, and Rioja Alta. To top it all off, we enjoyed one of the best meals of the trip at a cozy local spot in Haro. Day 2: We started at the spectacular Bodegas Ysios, an architectural marvel by Santiago Calatrava, where we had a tasting in the most breathtaking room. Next up was Marqués de Riscal, known for its jaw-dropping winery and hotel—and even better wines! Finally, we stepped back in time at Casa Primicia, an 11th-century bodega steeped in history. We wrapped up with another amazing meal in Laguardia, recharging for day three! Day 3: Our final day in La Rioja took us to the historic Marqués de Murrieta. Founded in 1852, it’s famed for its traditional Rioja wines. We ended our epic adventure in Laguardia, a beautiful medieval walled town, enjoying a delicious dinner of local specialties before heading off to San Sebastián.
