There are so many different reasons why people make films, and it's always fascinating. Case in point, Karyna Kudzina, who was spurred on thanks to a conversation with her Mother, and the desire to tell that story (well, a version of). So this is how Karyna decided to make her feature directorial debut with 'Silence of the Prey'!!! We really have a great back & forth about so many interesting topics, like the plight of undocumented immigrants, how she stayed motivated with her career, her vision for the film, and how she was able to bring everything to life with the help of the people around her. There were so many technical issues with this, BUT, Karyna was a legend and powered through, and I think we ended up with a really insightful 90 minutes which you're going to love!!!
