It is believed that she committed suicide while working on the set of a TV series. When Tunisha's final rituals were being administered, her mother Vanita Sharma sobbed and was observed to be inconsolable. The actor's cremation was attended by actors Kanwar Dhillon, Reem Shaikh, Ashnoor Kaur, Avneet Kaur, Siddharth Nigam, Abhishek Nigam, Shivin Narang, Vishal Jethwa, and others. The mother and sister of Sheezan Khan, Tunisha's co-star, also visited the cremation site to pay their condolences. Sheezan Khan, the main suspect, reportedly sobbed during a police interrogation.
