Episode 9: Last weekend at the Enduro1 in Eifa Hatzfeld was a wild ride! Despite crashing at stages 5 and 7 and dropping from P3 to P5, I’m satisfied with my finish. No serious injuries—just a bruised shoulder, which reminds me of my American football years! 🏈 My second half of the season has been a huge improvement, and finishing stronger than the first half feels awesome! 💪🏼💪🏼 It’s been amazing meeting so many cool, funny, and competitive yet friendly people. Helping out with mechanical issues and getting help in return, getting cheered and motivated by other riders (even from your own competition), cheering them back, and figuring out trail features together are some of the things that make this Enduro community beautiful. ❤️❤️ But it’s bittersweet—sad that this was the last race of the E1 2024 season. It went by so fast, and just as I started getting to know my competition personally. 🥹🥹 Finally put faces to names like Dominik, Alex, Sebastian, Florian , Supparkhorn , Lukasz , Christian , Lars , Daniel, and more. The camaraderie in enduro racing is simply unmatched -never met a single diva! Shoutout to the familiar faces that always bring warmth, positivity, and laughter: Tobi, Unai, Oli, Rico, Matze, Mitya , Wowe and many more. Don’t be upset if you’re not mentioned. 😜 This season has shown personal growth and improvement compared to 2023, but there’s always more to learn. No off-season then.
