Played by Franco Bandera with early fingering by Adriano Banchieri. The Italian renaissance fingering has two methods: the one described by Girolamo Diruta (1554-1610) in the treatise "Il Transilvano", and the other described by Adriano Banchieri (1568-1634) in the treatise "Conclusioni nel suono dell'organo". The general rule is the alternation of notes good with the bad notes (Diruta) or the long note by note short (Banchieri) example Diruta ascent with the right hand: 2, 3-4, 3-4, 3-4, .. and down with the right hand: 4, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, ..
