Damaged bellows are replaced as follows: Before replacing the bellows, place a marking above the hose clamp in order.to bring the new bellows into their correct position. 1. Push rod should be in its highest position. 2. Loosen the hose clamp. 3. Remove the clamping ring. 4. Push the bellows upwards. -5. Loosen the cap nut. 6. Remove the bellows in downward direction. Mounting of the new bellows is done in reverse order. Important: When fixing the hose clamp be sure that the bellows are not fully extended in their travel, or respectively, that the folds are not pressed together too hard. The weld seams of the bellows should be aligned parallel to the lengthwise d'irection of the machine. When readjusting the knitting levers, it might be necessary to remove the bellows. Be sure that the folds do not show any bends as otherwise their durability will be reduced nsiderably and no guarantee can be assumed. thank you
