​In the hustle and bustle of the city, we are like clockwork machines, shuttling between high-rise buildings every day, and pressure follows us like a shadow. Working from 9 to 6 (actually often working overtime until late at night), congested traffic, high cost of living... all this makes us breathless. So, we made a bold decision - escape from the city and find the true life. ​ 💒We found a dilapidated farmhouse in the mountains. Although the house is old, the surrounding environment is beautiful, surrounded by green mountains and gurgling green water, as if it is a paradise. The process of renovating the farmhouse is full of hardships. From contacting the construction team, selecting materials, to designing every detail, we did it ourselves. With limited funds, we tried our best to save costs, and many furniture were made by ourselves. I still remember running to countless building materials markets to choose the right floor; In order to paint the ideal wall color, the pigment was repeatedly adjusted. But every time I see the house become what we expect little by little, my heart is full of a sense of accomplishment.​ 🌳Now, we live the life we ​​long for. In the morning, we wake up to the singing of birds, open the window, and the fresh air hits us. During the day, we plant flowers and vegetables in the yard to feel the gifts of nature; in the evening, we sit in the yard, watching the sunset, the afterglow sprinkled on our bodies, and the fatigue of the day disappears. Here, time seems to slow down, and we have more time to accompany each other and enjoy the beauty of life. Away from the pressure of the city, we smile more and more, and life becomes more and more flavorful.
