D'Addario Chromes vs Pyramid-Gold Chromes (flatwound bass string comparison)

Replaced the 17yo D'Addario Chromes with some brand new (like 2 minutes before I recorded the video) Pyramid Chromes. The D'Addario are pure stainless steel and the Pyramids are pure Nickel. No EQ, no FX, just the direct signal. I never know what to play for these sorts of videos. As expected the new strings have more mid/upper harmonics, and I expect they will tame quite a bit, but I like the extra bit of definition, even when the tone is rolled off. The G string is maybe a little bright, but not like I use that string much anyway.
