I Paint Graffiti on ABANDONED Olympic Ruins in Sarajevo

This week I arrive in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. My mission was to paint the 1984 Winter Olympic Bobsleigh and luge track, an abandoned concrete structure hidden in the hills of the Trebevic Mountain. I find a local spray paint shop, try to blag entry to a graffiti festival, fail, make my way up the mountain via cable car, find my space on the luge track and paint it. After sunset I head out into the city to find food in the old town before signing off for the night. Sarajevo is the largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina surrounded by the Diraric Alps and situated on the Miljacka river in the heart of the Balkans, a region of southeastern Europe. I had 2 weeks to explore the political, financial, social, and cultural centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Sarajevo Olympic Bobsleigh and Luge Track was built between 1981 - 1982. This same track was used again in 1990 for the Bobsleigh World Cup before falling into disrepair after damages sustained during the Siege of Sarajevo in 1992. The track is made up of 3 separate stages totalling at over 4000 feet. It sits atop Mount Trebevic - A mountain located in the territories of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo city, bordering Jahorina mountain. Trebević is 1,627 meters (5,338 ft) tall.
