Inspired by Erich von Däniken's so called theories on ancient anstronautism, the project's lead figure is a fictional outherwordly entity, a messenger of the cosmic lords, called The Harbinger. Tobias Schmitt draws inspiration from psychedelic rock and neighbouring genres, espacially krautrock, shoegaze, and post-punk. Each song except 'Harbinger's Theme' is based upon traits from or myths revolving around deities from mythologies all over the world: 1. Harbinger's Theme An Introduction to the EP and The Harbinger. 2. Helios Greek god the sun, a musical interpretation of the sun's movement over the sky, from early dawn to late dusk. 3. Xochipilli Aztec god of love, flowers, dance and, according to some theories, substance abuse. 4. Izanami Japanese mother deity, who died during childbirth and unwillingly became goddess of the underworld. A rather melancholic piece, which guitars aim to reproduce Izanami's laments. 5. Abzu A god of fresh water from ancient mesopotamian mythologies. The song encapsulates the feeling of drifting away on a softly but steadily flowing river."
