Twitch: / thedreamcastguy Pokemon Feb 27th I wouldn't mind the price if: They bundles the games together. They allowed trading between the versions on the same system. They included all the previous event only content (assumedly they'd mention that on the store page if it was included) They actually put in any effort at all to include new features like other re-releases like speed up features, exp or money boosts, the ability to turn off random encounters... you know, stuff rpg rereleases have been doing for over 15 years? Any or all of these would make this almost an instant buy. But asking 20 dollars for bare bones re-releases of GBA games is a bit too steep. Imagine if other companies tried this? Imagine if the Battle Network Legacy Collection was 200 dollars cause it has 6 games, with 4 of them having 2 versions? People would have laughed and assumed Capcom was drunk. The only positive is that this is a full purchase, so you have it forever. Which is nice... but unless their holding something back for the 27th they haven't mentioned yet, I would honestly say anyone who isn't a super fan should wait for a sale, or just buy some other rpg if they need a fix. This just comes off as undercooked at the moment. NO ONLINE PLAY. You must be directly in the room with someone else to trade or battle. Selling the languages separately because they were too lazy to compile them together is just bordering on insanity It’s literally just the ROM. No settings, no emulation menu. - The games will not receive physical releases "the contents of [the games] are the same as in the games' original release" All of the games’ original connectivity features will work just as they did on Game Boy Advance via local wireless connection NSO is not required to play Online play is not supported Nothing to announce regarding any other Pokémon titles Online play is not supported Local wireless connection for connectivity features Connect with up to 4 other players in the Pokémon Wireless Club Content is "broadly speaking" the same as in the games’ original release Games remain unchanged from their original release on Game Boy Advance Cannot change the language of the version you buy There are no major differences in how the games perform on Switch and Switch 2 "We thought it would be fun to return to the ultimate versions of the original Pokémon adventures in the Kanto region with these special releases."
