National Public School, Hosur road, opened a new path of entertaining guidance and inaugurated a musical rendezvous with our roots. The school believes that each new generation must be awakened to the immense depth of our legacy, the mellifluous Indian culture. Music is the enchanting path to recognise our ancient heritage. On its inaugural display, Ragasudha, became a splendid presentation of classical music, traditional rhythm, and supreme joyous devotion. Created, convened, and headed by the school’s teachers of music Kumari Sharada Kripa and Mr. Leo Johnson, under the guidance of Mrs. Usha Mahesh Reddy, Director-Principal, the program exhibited the talents of a group of musically inclined teachers and students. They were assisted by a team of seasoned artists: vocally by Smt Roopa Keshava Raman, on the violin by Shri K.S.Vasuki, on the keyboard by Shri. Sushruth Kanathur, on the Mridangam by Ganakala Shri Kasturi R. Sathyakumar, and on the Rhythm pad by Shri Sai Vamshi. The program showcased melodious renditions of a chosen few popular songs of Shri Muthuswamy Dikshitar, Shri Thyagaraja Swami, Shri Annamacharya, Shri Kanakadasa and others.
