Finally! The Solar Gate is running on Lithium! Upgrading Lead-Acid to LiFePO4

The longest project in the history of the Off-Grid Garage has finally come to an end (almost). That was one of the first projects I started 5 years ago, way back, when this channel was created. So, in this exciting last* episode of the saga, I replace the old lead-acid AGM batteries and PWM charge controller with the new PALO 24V battery, the JK-BMS with iBMS Monitor and the Epever MPPT solar charge controller. The biggest surprise is, that the Wifi signal on top of my house I recently upgrade to a TP-Link Omada Outdoor Wifi) is now strong enough to reach both the iBMS and Epever down at the gate. I show you what data is available and what we can see... At the very end of the video, I show you how the gate has performed after 3 days. It is very interesting, how the Epever controller works and charges the battery. The board is a pure monitoring device for a single JK-BMS (B-series), JK-Inverter BMS (up to 16 can be connected) and also JBD BMS (single BMS). It displays all data of the connected BMS on its website for monitoring or can be integrated into Home Assistant, to display the relevant data in a dashboard and make the entities available for automations.
