Treatment advances in metastatic prostate cancer - Dr. Edmond Kwan

This video is a recording of a May 2022 Vancouver Prostate Cancer Support Group meeting. Edmond Kwan, MD, PhD is a UBC Postdoctoral Fellow in the Urologic Sciences Department, working at the Vancouver Prostate Centre. Edmond received his M.D. in 2009 and completed his Medical Oncology Training in Melbourne, Australia in 2017 with a strong interest in the care of patients with genitourinary cancers. He completed his Ph.D. at Monash University in July 2020 focusing on whole blood transcriptomics to identify biomarkers in advanced prostate cancer. His studies were supported by a scholarship from the National Health and Medical Research Council. During his Ph.D., he was actively involved in clinical research as a Principal Investigator and led various local and international clinical trials.
