Along the way, we picked up Elisabetta (who you will see at the end of the vlog saying bye) in the Brera district before heading to Bioesserì for a delicious Italian lunch. We ordered pasta and had the most insane cannoli. What we ordered: Tagliatelle al ragù di broccoli ed erbe invernali con pane atturrato al bergamotto, Lenticchie in zimino con ragù di Cotechino Modena IGP, Cannolo con ricotta. After a relaxing for a little while at the hotel (Glam Hotel, right next to the train station) we headed out on a guided tour of Milan's modern district, exploring the city's unique architecture. This was a part of Milan I hadn’t explored before and the contrast from the older areas is incredible to see. In the evening, had a pizza dinner at 101 Tarantella, indulging in authentic Neapolitan pizza topped with Mortadella Bologna PGI. DAY 2: MILAN - BOLOGNA The next day, we checked out of the hotel and headed to Bar Basso for a special event featuring Salamini Italiani alla Cacciatora DOP. This tasting experience introduced us to one of Italy’s most well known cured deli meats, paired with classic aperitifs and some fun toppings (that I didn’t know until after the taste test). After the event, we popped back to the hotel to collect our luggage and boarded the Frecciarossa train to Bologna. Upon arrival, we checked into the Hotel Mercure which was really modern and overlooked the train station before setting off on a guided food walking tour with Bologna Welcome, who showed us some of the city's culinary delicacies. We tried balsamic vinegars, learned about cheeses and then finished the tour with a deli meat platter so big, we struggled to finish it. Lastly, we headed out to grab a quick dinner which really was… unreal but wow were we so full already! A full day of eating complete. DAY 3: BOLOGNA On our final day, we started with a cooking class at Sfoglia Rina, where we learned how to make fresh egg pasta and enjoyed a homemade Italian lunch. I’ve made pasta before in Italy, so it was fun to compare the process where I made it before. We grabbed some gelato and went for a quick historic stroll, including a visit to the Museo Storia Bologna. Then sadly it was time to head to the airport so we grabbed out things and set off. #milanvlog #bolognaitaly #bolognafood #italytripplanning #italyvlog #italianfood *This was a press trip See you for more YT content soon!!!
