VPI TNT MKI Turntable with Eminent Technology ET2 air tonearm

I bought this MKI VPI TNT with ET2 arm about a year ago as a review project for my blog at www.AudioResurgence.com I replaced the tonearm cable with a new cable and connector bought from Bruce Thigpen at Eminent Technology. I have the VPI Speed Controller also, which is shown in the video. The arm is a little beyond me. It isn't difficult to setup but it requires some care and a level of patience which I don't have! That said, I installed a Soundsmith Cartridge and have the deck playing and it sounds fantastic. (Cartridge NOT included). The sale includes a lengthy manual for the ET2 and someone needs to sit down and do a proper setup and alignment. The arm came to me preinstalled on the deck and I have not removed it nor spent any time trying to adjust it. This table presents beautifully, it's literally like a 30 year old time capsule was just opened up and in it was a beautifully preserved VPI TNT MKI. I even have the original paperwork from first purchase. I've owned a TNT before and the older ones generally suffered a lot of abuse. Not so here, this MKI really is immaculate for its age. As of now, I'm asking for a local pickup in VA 23920 or I can drive a reasonable distance to meet the new owner, provided it's paid for in advance. Enjoy this classic turntable with the much acclaimed Eminent Technology ET2 tonearm - still supported and serviceable to this day!
