The teacher is always quiet during the test. When it seems like Christ is distant, He is quietly shaping you into who you need to be. He will never forsake you, but He will also never force His Will upon you. Take a leap of faith. I hear unbelievers say they aren’t rejecting Jesus, but they’re can’t make themselves believe. Nothing in life is guaranteed, but we operate in faith in every aspect that matters. We can’t prove that our spouse or parent loves us, but we have evidence enough to believe in their love for us. Unbelievers are always trying to nitpick and find everything they can to not believe in Christ. If we did this in our relationships, we would be lonely and miserable in life. (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53‬:‭4‬-‭6‬) “Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned—every one—to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.” (‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2‬:‭2‬-‭8‬) “complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
