The Emperor Waltz or otherwise known as Kaiser-Walzer, Op. 437 was composed by Johann Strauss II in 1889. It's a song that I learnt to play (by ear) on organ as a kid and it comes out very well on piano. It's a lovely and well-known waltz and I'm playing this in the key of C. You don't see me play classical, and this is probably as classical as I get. The song uses a lot of octaves so I have the view on a wide angle.
