Penetration with denim would likely be slightly greater but I've never seen DPX have any trouble at all expanding with heavy clothing. The shot from the carbine angled sharply downward and put a hole through the table. The bullet was found lying on the tarp. The data from that test would be invalid so I have not posted it.
