In this video I take you along as I remove and install a serpentine belt and A/C belt on a 2018 Ford F150 5.0L. While the vehicle featured in the video is a 2018 this information, in part or in whole, will apply to many years of the F150 pickup truck equipped with the 5.0L. Please verify everything with an appropriate repair manual. Note: At a few points during the video when removing the belts there is noticeable wetness on the belts. This is from when I removed the water pump. (Water pump removal not needed to change belts). Also, I would advise keeping belts clean and dry, especially the new belts. Lubricant is not necessary or recommended for belt replacement. Warning!! As mentioned in video, place vehicle in park, remove key, apply parking brake, and chock wheels. Also be sure vehicle is positioned on a flat level surface. This helps prevent vehicle from accidentally rolling and potentially harming you, others or property.
