Welcome to 26 in 21, a personal quilting challenge I'll be embarking on during 2021. If I learned anything from the 2020 pandemic experience, it is that I'm happier when I'm being consistently productive, and this will help do that. Join me while I create and vlog my way through 26 quilts during 2021, creating a new quilt every two weeks. I'm SO excited for another Elizabeth Hartman pattern to make it's way in to this yearly venture. Bjorn Bear has been on my "to do" list for years now, and I finally have a reason to do it... even if it doesn't have a recipient. Quilted Connection's Summer Sew Along started on June 14 and runs through all the way through September 12... AND they're making Elizabeth Hartman patterns! All I'll need to do (and you too, if you want to jump in the fun) is post a block a week with the corresponding hashtags to be entered to win... pretty easy, right? This week, I'm chopping up my fabrics (hoping I have enough of each) and then beginning the bear blocks. Bjorn was made from my Kona stash, and I only needed to purchase the background and backing fabrics... Both of which will join in to the Kona stash as well.
