Sydney Metro - Sydenham Station, Marrickville Dive Site & Trains Facility South Update - May 2021

In my latest Sydney Metro update video, I'll cover the two brand new station entrances to Sydenham Station. One will be on Burrows Avenue and that's looking pretty finished. The other one is on Railway Parade and work is just starting on that one. I will then show you the stunning new Aerial Concourse that is being built at the North East end of Sydenham Station. This is really taking shape and looks awesome! It will provide stair and lift access to the 4 Sydney Trains platforms and the 2 new Sydney Metro platforms. You'll then see how the conversion of Platforms 1 and 2 is progressing to accommodate Sydney Metro Trains. This includes extending the platforms to create a straight platform that is more suited to Metro trains. I then reveal the track layout for Trains Facility South and then go out to see how it's all looking in practice. You'll see the trackbed for a line that will access the stabling facilities and how the site now looks ready for track laying to begin. As usual, I'll spend some time on Bedwin Road bridge, showing you the view from there. I then take the train to get super close-up views of the work that is currently taking place. You'll also see the entrance to the tunnels that now includes some track! The tunnel entrances are not obvious, so this video will help you find them for real!
