With clear mastery-based stages instead of grade levels, it is designed for a student to work progress as they are developmentally ready and have mastered the appropriate skills of previous stages. In this way, students can move through the program at the rate that best suits their needs. It can work as a stand-alone program and be the only program your student needs for formal writing instruction or it can be paired with another language arts or writing curriculum.
