Two fantastic Military collectables that would fit into any collections. 1. Normandy Veterans Association. 60th Anniv Ltd. Ed An outstanding, highly collectable print commemorating the final and greatest turning point of World War II - The D-Day landings. Taken from a specially commissioned painting by Michael Turner PGAvA, the print shows the eastern flank of the D-Day battlefield at 1300 hours on June 6th 1944 from the air. The five D-Day beaches were protected by the greatest air umbrella the world had ever seen and this magnificent painting depicts a fascinating snapshot of the situation later that fateful day. Twenty-four distinguished veterans of the Normandy Campaign have signed: Staff Sgt. P. Boyle, Field Marshal Lord Bramall, Air Cdre. P. Brothers, The Rt. Hon. Lord Carrington, Admiral Sir Desmond Cassidi, Col. P. Colstermann, Cdr. Mike Crosley, The Rt. Hon. Lord Deedes, Lt. Gen. Baron M. Donnet, Air Cdre. J. Ellacombe, AB. R. Gale, Premiere Maitre L. Gautier, Field Marshal Sir Roland Gibbs, Madame A. Gondree-Pritchett, Rear-Adml. E. Gueritz, Flt. Lt. R. Knights, Maj.-Gen. P. L. de C. Martin, Col. T. Otway, Wg. Cdr. J. Rose, Gp. Capt. J. Tait, Capt. R. Todd, Flying Officer L. Valentine, Maj. Sir Hereward Wake, Col. D. Wood and the artist himself 2.
