It is important to receive the Word of God with an open heart and listen for transformation, not just information. • It is God's desire that believers continue to grow. When believers grow, it makes allowance and provision for more people to come into the Christian faith. • Spiritual maturity requires a methodical approach. There is an exact body of knowledge allocated for the building of the saints, it is called marvellous light. • The primary way believers are built is through doctrine. Doctrines are not opinions, they are the precepts of the Kingdom. • Acts 20:32 KJV And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified. • The knowledge of the person of God can never be exhausted. However, as far as your excelling in life is concerned, there is a finite body of truth allocated for the victory of the saints. • Deuteronomy 30:19 KJV I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. • Your decisions do not affect you alone. Whatever decision you make will affect you and everyone under your care biologically, spiritually and psychologically. • A consequence is the resultant effect of a decision. You do not choose consequences, you only make choices. Your choices determine the consequences. • Our destinies are not dependent on the disadvantages that surround our lives or the psychological context we find ourselves. Decisions decide destiny. • Our destinies are decided not just by the Will of God but by the decisions we take. God gave men an independent mind that is capable of making rational decisions that are respected in the realm of the spirit. • For you to reign in life, your decisions must be derived from the Word of God. When your decisions are not referenced from and consistent with Scriptures, there is no guarantee of a victorious life. • The proof that you can trust the decisions you make is seen in the level of your preparedness to face the consequences of those decisions. • Declare: I make up my mind right now, by the grace of God, that I will make quality decisions. I will be visionary. I refuse to see a challenge, I see a glorious destiny. And in partnership with the Holy Spirit, I will get there. Five Decisions that Make for Excelling in Life: 1. The decision to be serious with God - Building your prayer and Word study life. 2. The decision to be transformed - Replacing every faulty paradigm and mindset and embracing a superior belief system. 3. The decision to be exceptionally valuable - rejecting mediocrity and embracing excellence. 4. The decision to have strategic and intentional destiny relationships. 5. The decision to be spiritually empowered - To contend for genuine and authentic spiritual power to the degree that enables you represent the purposes of the Kingdom confidently and provide supernatural solutions. Pray: Lord my life must count, I obtain grace tonight. Pray: In the Name of Jesus, I make decisions that make for greatness.
