Sixteen months have passed since we saw a teaser trailer for the sci-fi adventure Monsters of California, which marks the feature directorial debut of Tom DeLonge, the guitarist and co-lead vocalist in the band Blink-182. At that time, we had no idea when Monsters of California was going to be making its way out into the world… but now we do. The film is set to receive a theatrical and VOD release on October 6th, and with that date less than a month away a full trailer has arrived online. You can check it out in the embed above. DeLonge’s interest in UFOs, the paranormal, cryptids, and conspiracy theories is very well known, and his research in those areas was put to use when crafting the story for Monsters of California with co-writer Ian Miller. The film follows teenager Dallas Edwards and his misfit friends as they attempt to unearth answers to a series of mysterious, paranormal events happening around Southern California. As they peel back the layers on this onion of the unexplainable, they unravel the extraordinary secrets held within the deepest levels of the Government.
