Trends in the food and beverage industry in India have changed incredibly over the last few years, and Padma Shri Dr. Imtiaz Qureshi has played a key role in this paradigm shift. From creating the culinary brand of Bukhara to reviving the Dum Pukht tradition, the Qureshi family has been at the forefront of promoting authentic Indian cuisine. In this video, Dr. Imtiaz Qureshi, along with his son Ashfaque speak about the rich history and evolution of Indian cuisine as we know it. Imitiaz and Ashfaque are the flag bearers of Indian cuisine not just in India, but around the world. Padma Shri Dr. Imtiaz Qureshi is the first Indian chef to win the coveted Padma Shri title, while his son Ashfaque is currently carrying on his family's tradition being the owner of a chain of restaurants serving authentic Indian cuisine around the world.
