Bison 1000 Tethonware Mesh Editing Tutorial

This video demonstrates Tethonware 3D printing software - non-manifold geometry and mesh editing. Sometimes when you receive or even make the file yourself there can be mesh issues that can cause a 3D print to fail. Don’t blame yourself, there’s a lot to learn and we’re here to help. Within our Tethonware software we have a few tools to help fix your model and save on resin cost. Non-manifold Geometry - Geometry that can cause an error when getting a file ready to print and your print to fail Shrink Wrap - This should help fix most geometry issues Reduce Mesh - Reduces the polycount of the selected object Hollow Mesh - You can use this tool to hollow out your mesh to save on resin cost. Consult your material guidelines to determine wall thickness Add Drainage Hole - Adding drainage holes will allow excess resin to drain from the inside of the model Add Drainage Hole (full boolean) - This makes the drainage holes created into permanent changes to the model Infill - Fills the interior of a hollowed out object with a lattice. This adds structural support within your object and may be necessary for certain materials Split Disjoint Shells - If your mesh is made up of multiple objects you can use this tool to separate them to edit individually Join Disjoint Shells - This combines the selected objects in your project into one object.
