Believe me, I’ve been sent quite a few bad ones from competitors. Rusty strings, bad windings on the ball ends, dull, kinked… you name it. Most unfortunate for those competitors whom shall remain nameless. Back to Ernie Ball. They’re good ones. Ernie Ball do a variety of great alloys ranging from the classic Super Slinky’s through to the Cobalts, M-Steels and now the virtually indestructible Paradigms. I have gathered all of the aforementioned and given myself (and us) a little taste test for this video. Speaking of videos, it’s very hard to sonically convey a significant string-type difference through the medium of Youtube, hence the barrage of verbal descriptions.
