Can the Cornerstone Nucleo unseat the mighty CXM1978 as our favourite reverb? Welcome to the show. We were totally blown away by Cornerstone Nucleo Paul Davids Signature Reverb when we heard it for a video a few weeks back. And perhaps because of the sliders and perhaps because of the colour, comparisons were immediately drawn to the mighty, the venerable, the deeply hallowed Chase Bliss Audio CXM1978. Yes, the giant white beast with actual moving faders sits unassailed as our favourite pedal reverb of all time ever… despite the not inconsiderable required pedalboard real estate, and terrifying, trouser-browning price.
