Expect strange humor, unsettling moments, and a lot of personality packed into a retro, SNES-era style experience. Scourge of Scavengers follows a depressed young adult who may be the last one capable of standing against an infernal army of crows—alongside a mysterious assistant. It is heavily inspired by Earthbound, Undertale and OFF, so expect some weirdness and things outta your mind. Which makes me need to inform you... This game's theme is built around really strange things, and it has mentions of depression and suicide, while putting them onto a "somewhat" humorous side. I just wanted to say that despite what this game will contain in the end, please, if you are struggling with depression and/or intrusive thoughts, find help. You are not alone, there are people that care and it won't hurt to ask for their assistance. And please, don't take anything shown here too serious. It is just a silly game about birds and infection, it is not meant to bring any harm! Now about the game itself. It will be an old-themed RPG with turn-based combat and top-down movement, loved by many pixelated graphics and a general feeling of the Super Nintendo era (with a little extra flavor for various reasons). You'll be taking the role of a depressed young adult that struggles with self-hatred and intrusive thoughts. He, (un)luckily, is the only one left that can at least try and fight back the infernal army of crows, and there will be an assistant of his. Will he do it, or perish like all the others?
