K5HLB! BNSF 8055 in Kewanee and Galva, IL 2/13/23

I was pleasantly surprised this Monday afternoon by a K5HLB passing by the house on H-BRCGAL. Turns out this was 8055 after just returning from prison time on CSX, and it brought one of their Dash 9s along. I proceeded to chase him to Kewanee and Galva. I overall wasn't the happiest with this chase. First, my normal spot in Kewanee was blocked by city workers, so I setup a few blocks west which wasn't bad, but probably not quite as good as the other spot. Second, he stopped west of Kewanee, which was great as I had hoped to get him in Galva. However, I wasn't sure if he was tying down for the night as BNSF trains often do between Kewanee and Galva, and as soon as I decided to give up on him and assume he was tying down, that's when he decided to get moving and so I missed the shot of him in town. Despite all this, a K5HLB catch is a K5HLB catch, and I will always take them whenever possible.
