Part of the NEW Ghoul update introduces an exciting new combat machanic called Onslaught. This video will explain how the new onslaught effect works in fallout 76 and it's uses. Most players will be able to take advantage of this new onslaught mechanic as it applies to all ranged weapons and will work with furious melee weapons. It's basically a rework and expansion to the furious legendary effect which allows you to build stacks on onslaught which then grant an increased damage buff.
