That's alright, though, because he gave us so many other wonderful things, and now Earthquaker Devices has come along with the Aqueduct to get the vibrato situation sorted once and for all. It turns out that the term "vibrato" actually indicates a change in pitch, and thus, that's what the Aqueduct does. It has eight flavors of pitch warble on board, from a silky smooth sine wave bob, to synth-like Ramp mode, to the extraordinary Envelope-Controlled Pitch mode, which is basically Kevin Shields' whammy bar strum in a box. Tack on a Flexi-Switch, which can function in either latching or momentary fashion depending on how long you hold it down, and the Aqueduct is ready to rip.
