the second Ro-Ro Carrier for CG Railway finally arrived into Hong Kong from the shipyard in Guangzhou. Sea trials were conducted in Aug 2021, and very lucky to capture the ship without any cargo blocking the rail tracks. This new ship MAYAN will service in the Gulf of Mexico, traveling between ports of Mobile and Coatzacoalcos, a 956 mile journey. These will replace the old rail ferries, which travel at half the speeds. The ship owners are Genesse & Wyoming and SEACOR.
