Newham Council is investing in a new-look East Ham Civic Campus to provide residents and businesses with superb new facilities and preserve the borough's historic buildings. The works will include: •A brand new Customer Service Centre and Library to deliver a wide range of council services under one roof in a modern, high quality building. •Improvements to the historic listed buildings in the East Ham Campus which will preserve Newham's proud heritage. •Improved access to the whole Campus to create more pedestrian-friendly surroundings. •A new Energy Centre providing an efficient heat source that will help reduce energy use across the Campus. The new Customer Service Centre and Library opened in February 2014 whilst works on the rest of the campus continue.
