A 13 mins documentary about the Princess Royal Class Locomotive Trust (PRCLT) and two of the locomotives they've saved and restored. As part of my Level 3 Film & T.V coursework, I and other students from Vision West Nottinghamshire College went to the Midland Railway Centre in Ripley, Derbyshire where we went up to Swanwick to visit the West Shed. Over the coming weeks, we went several times to carry out filming and interviews with some of the volunteers. This documentary gives a brief history of both the Princess Royal and Princess Coronation Class locomotives and how the PRCLT acquired two of them. We would like to thank everyone at the PRCLT for giving us this chance to create this documentary and hope that this film will help in the long run. For more information please visit the PRCLT website and Facebook page.
