ತ್ರಯಂಬಕೇಶ್ವರ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಲಿಂಗ ಎಂಬುದು ಹಿಂದೂ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ 12 ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಲಿಂಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ನಾಸಿಕ್ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಭಗವಾನ್ ಶಿವನಿಗೆ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಲಿಂಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿರುವುದು ಏನೆಂದರೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶಿವಲಿಂಗವು ಮೂರು ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ – ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ (ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ), ವಿಷ್ಣು (ಪಾಲಕ) ಮತ್ತು ಶಿವ (ವಿನಾಶಕ) – ಇದು ಮೂರು ದೇವತೆಗಳ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಗೌತಮ ಋಷಿಯ ಪಾಪ ನೀಗಿಸಲು ಶಿವನು ಕರುಣೆಯಿಂದ ಗೋದಾವರಿನ ನೀರನ್ನು ಅವನ ಆಶ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಹರಿಸಿದ. ಶಿವನ ಅನುಗ್ರಹದಿಂದ, ಶಿವನು ಈ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತ್ರಿಮಿಶ್ರ ರೂಪದ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಲಿಂಗವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ತ್ರಯಂಬಕೇಶ್ವರ ಜ್ಯೋತಿರ್ಲಿಂಗವು ಶಿವಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಶುಭಕಾರಕ ಸ್ಥಳವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪೂಜೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೋಮಗಳು (ಉದಾ: ಕಾಲಸರ್ಪ ಶಾಂತಿ, ನಾರಾಯಣ ನಾಗಬಲಿ, ತ್ರಿಪಿಂಡಿ ಶ್ರಾದ್ಧ) ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಇದೆ. ಗೋದಾವರಿ ನದಿಯ ಮೂಲವಾಗಿದೆ ಈ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಸ್ಥಳ. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is one of the twelve most sacred Jyotirlingas in Hinduism. It is located in the Nashik district of Maharashtra and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. What makes this Jyotirlinga unique is that the Shiva Linga here has three faces, representing Brahma (the Creator), Vishnu (the Preserver), and Shiva (the Destroyer) — symbolizing the combined power of the Trinity (Trimurti). According to legend, to absolve Sage Gautama of his sin, Lord Shiva compassionately brought the waters of the Godavari River to his ashram. By Shiva’s divine grace, He manifested here in the form of a three-faced Jyotirlinga. Trimbakeshwar Jyotirlinga is considered highly auspicious for devotees of Lord Shiva. Special rituals and sacred ceremonies such as Kaal Sarp Shanti, Narayan Nagbali, and Tripindi Shraddha are performed here with great belief and devotion. This holy place is also regarded as the origin of the sacred Godavari River, making it one of the most spiritually significant pilgrimage sites in India.
