Trying to climb Monviso before a massive storm, and getting trapped in a bivvy hut... [CTA ep5]

in 2021, I tried to backpack and climb for 1900km across the Alps. My journey linked trails, scrambles, via ferratas and climbing routes. In total I spent 61 days wild camping and thru hiking from Slovenia to Monaco. I made over 130,000m of ascent, and climbed around 60 additional peaks, many of which were graded mountaineering routes. In part 5, I make my way through the Vanoise in France via the peak of Pointe de la Sana. I also pass the towns of Modane and Briancon. After that, I attempt to climb Monte Viso. I only had a narrow window of good weather to attempt the climb. This meant racing to towards the mountain before big storms arrived. To finally reach the Mediterranean Sea, I needed to cross the Cottian Alps; the Chembeyron Massif and the Mercantour National Park. This included climbing Monte Argentera.
