Discover the video in 4K resolution Filmed with : DJI Mavic Pro 2 Lake Annecy is a French lake located in the Alps, in Haute-Savoie and in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. By its surface area, it is the second largest glacial lake in France after Le Bourget, very close, and except for the French part of Lake Geneva. The lake was formed at the end of the Würm Glaciation, i.e. during a period between 17000 BC and 15000 BC, corresponding to the progressive melting of the great Alpine glaciers. It is fed by seven streams and torrents, born in the surrounding mountains and a powerful sub-lake source. The basin is bordered to the north by the Annecy agglomeration, to the east by the Bornes massif, to the west by the Bauges massif and to the south by the Faverges depression which extends the Bout-du-Lac. The lake overflows into the Thiou, which feeds the Fier River northwest of Annecy, which then flows directly into the Rhône. The lake is a very attractive tourist site, known for its numerous water sports activities, paragliding, and its environmental qualities allowing the observation of a preserved nature. Lake Annecy belongs to the public domain of the State4 and the only island it includes, Ile des Cygnes, is artificial and is located opposite Annecy. There is a cycle path called "the Green Way of Lake Annecy", located on the west bank of the lake on a dedicated site over a distance of 33 km and managed by the SILA5. The video also includes an overview of the Ponts de la Caille. The Charles-Albert Bridge, commonly known as the Caille Bridge, is a classical steel cable suspension bridge located in France, straddling the communes of Allonzier-la-Caille and Cruseilles in the department of Haute-Savoie in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. Designed for the crossing of the Usses River, it was inaugurated on July 11, 18391 and has been listed as a historical monument since May 6, 19662,3. It was doubled by the Caquot bridge, which supports car traffic on the departmental road 1201. Both overhang the river by 150 meters at the level of the gorge at the bottom of which were the baths of the Caille, known to the Romans, now disused but where the spring still gushes.
