Today we'll look at a simple DIY wicking bed build, a system that has has soil wicking beds producing veggies for 7+ years, a simple Grow Bag wicking system you can set up right now as well as pointers to help you successfully integrate soil into your aquaponics system. Soil-based wicking beds allow you to grow crops like potatoes, ginger, and turmeric off to one side allowing your media beds free for fast-growing plants like greens.
