Hoffman would stick around to become John Kramer's first true successor by continuing his work and taking on the Jigsaw moniker. But Hoffman's intentions were not the same as his master's, and he developed a severe psychopathy and megalomania, or intense hunger for power, as a result of what he had been through. In this video I'll be breaking down the entire life of Mark Hoffman, from his youth, to his youngest years as a police officer, to the incident that changed his life forever; and I'll explain how he developed the conditions that made him one of the scariest and most significant villains in the Saw franchise.
