Today I’m sharing a truth that has been moving through my body and spirit deeply: forgiveness is not meant to live in your body—it’s meant to move through it. Love, however… love is meant to stay. Forgiveness, unlike love, does not need to stay stored in the body. Just like fear, shame, exhaustion, disappointment, or hatred—forgiveness is meant to be felt, declared, and released. Forgiveness is instant. “I forgive.” “I am forgiven.” Even when the mind tries to replay old memories, I remind myself: Those are memories—not truth. When forgiveness isn’t declared, we often carry blame and shame—toward others or ourselves—and that weight limits how much love we can hold. One of my favorite somatic practices is this declaration: “With love, I am forgiven. With love, I forgive.” When love—the ultimate life force—is present, it washes through the energy body and allows true release. Self-love stays. Forgiveness flows.
