Hello Toronto & Beyond! I’m Team Original Cracker Barrel including the logo with Uncle Herschel sitting in the chair, the Barrel and the Cracker Barrel name. Here’s one in Port Huron MI. I personally love the Old Country Store, the original country style of the restaurant with all the interesting antiquities in the decor. Rebranding an iconic logo (removing Uncle Herschel) and time tested business model that has been a successful American icon since 1969 in completely moronic! They have 2 - 3 generations in a loyal customer base with memories and emotional attachment, that’s something money can’t buy. Anyway like anything else there are some improvements needed, probably better training for staff. Probably some quality control one the menu and consistency in service and preparation. That is where the attention should be, not wiping the slate clean and rebranding. That will most likely bankrupt the entire company in less than 3-5 years. But what do I know, I’m just a guy from Toronto posting videos of great places to see, eat and visit.
