French police faced off with 100 migrants on Gravelines beach in northern France, as the migrants ran to a boat in an attempt to cross the English Channel. The police were seen using pepper spray on the migrants, but 70 of those fleeing are estimated to have made it to the boat despite the efforts of the police.
