Bodycam DUI Arrest - Drunk Dentist Crashes Into Police Cars and It's Caught on Bodycam

On September 15, 2023, Middletown Township Patrolmen Mania and Manochio conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for allegedly running a red light. While they were discussing the traffic citation with the driver, a SUV, driven by a 47 year-old female, plowed into both patrol vehicles and the innocent motorist who was part of the traffic stop. The end of the collision was caught on the body worn cameras of both patrolmen. It didn't take long for the female driver of the SUV to start name dropping that her brother-in-law is a police officer. She was eventually removed from the vehicle asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests. She was arrested and transported to the Middletown Township police station, where she was given the opportunity to submit to an evidentiary breath test (EBT). The results of the EBT were 0.238%. She received 6 traffic citations and was released to a sober adult about 90 minutes later. Meanwhile, the 2 people in the innocent vehicle had their vehicle totaled and they were taken to the hospital because of the injuries they sustained. Interesting, the woman's husband was following behind her in another vehicle when the accident occurred and he was also arrested for DUI. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
