Mosteiro Seiça - A monastery, a house and a factory

A place of legends dating back to the beginning of the history of portugal, more than 5 centuries ago. In 19 century, with the dissolution of the religious orders the monastery was abandoned. One part of the building was demolished in 1888 to make way for the west train line. Between 1911 e 1976 a family had bought, settled down and also create a rice husking factory.
